s152 is the result of a partnership between Marie Williams and Geoff Wigglesworth who saw an opportunity to combine their talents and start a business selling t-shirts and other products printed with cool graphics. Marie's background is in fashion design and retail and Geoff is a graphic designer.
After many years working in the hubbub of Auckland, they de-stressed and moved north in 2015, moving to a small semi-permaculture property near Whangarei in the (so called) winterless north. Firstly starting a mug printing business with a mug-press inhouse, they expanded into t-shirts and also eco-printed textiles and garments.
Studio152 is the studio/office/craftroom/workshop, so the mug printing business was called Studio152, the t-shirt business is s152 and the eco-printing business is called Natural Expressions. Geoff's design business is called Aline Graphics, designing anything from branding and logos through to websites.
